Booking software for tattoo artists and studios, built so they can take bookings without paying marketplace commission. It handles booking requests, client messaging, deposits, consent forms and guest spots, and gives each artist a public page with their portfolio and flash sheets. Behind that sit a calendar, earnings tracking and reminders by email, SMS and push. Studios manage seats and guest artists from the same dashboard, and there is a companion app for iOS and Android.
A coaching platform that personal trainers run under their own name, with their logo and colours across everything their clients see. Coaches build programmes, nutrition guides and meal ideas, handle check-ins and messages, and track how each client is getting on, all from one dashboard in place of spreadsheets, PDFs and WhatsApp. Clients follow their plan on the web or in a native iPhone and iPad app, and teams can share one account.
A wholesale ordering platform for the vinyl trade, built to replace the spreadsheets that go back and forth between distributors and independent record shops. Distributors upload their stock lists, shops browse and order online, and everything exports in one click. It also sends automated notifications, reports on sales, and connects to Shopify, WooCommerce and Discogs.
An app that tells fans the moment limited merch and collectables appear. It scrapes 800+ retailer stores around the clock and sends a push notification when something drops or restocks, often before the shop has posted about it. It began with music merch and vinyl and now covers collectables such as Pokemon, Disney and Jellycat. I built the iOS and Android apps, the website, and the accounts and billing behind them.
A website refresh to bring a long-running software company back to life. The brief was a sharper, more dynamic look that matched the product, with clearer routes to what customers come for: the supported retailer list, support and the dashboard.
My own software company, and the most complex thing I run: a website, a member platform and a family of apps that all talk to each other. Spectate is a Windows and Mac app that runs many isolated browser sessions at once, each with its own proxy and fingerprint, driven from a single tab. Utensils is a desktop toolbox for jobs worth doing in bulk, including reading order confirmations out of your inboxes over IMAP and turning them into one order history. ScriptHub is a Chrome extension holding dozens of automation scripts. Much of that is ported into Pinger, the iOS, Android and web app, alongside restock alerts, inventory tracking and order tracking.
